Jim Huscroft, President of Gates & Sons, Inc., joined host Tyler Kern to discuss the upcoming World of Concrete Show which will take place Jan. 18-20 in Las Vegas.
Past shows have seen an attendance of 80,000 people with international participants. Huscroft explained, “So to make this our highlight of the year, like we said, we have the pulse of the industry, we have the chance to talk to so many professionals in the industry, whether they are product distributors, whether they are the entrepreneur. “
One of the perks that Huscroft witnessed on the show is hearing good things from a lot of people. Every year there are people who haven’t heard of Gates, and Huscroft sees this as an opportunity. “It’s really a joy to explain what our products do, the thinking and innovation that we try to put into everything, even just the history of the company, so that someone can spend time with you. and let you guide it through your screen, ”he said.
Gates will feature interactive displays showcasing all the products including the foundation, their wood-based forming system, a super-fast column clamp line, and a 30-inch scaffold stand. “We don’t just sell something, we don’t just hand over parts and parts, our goal is to try to provide a solution to a contractor on a job site, and this partnership is, I think, something that is truly valuable to our customers and it’s really part of our culture, ”said Huscroft.
The World of Concrete Show will host a cornhole tournament co-sponsored with UFP Concrete Forming Solutions. Wednesday January 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Cash prizes, food and drink will be available. For more information, send an email to Gates. You can also visit them at West Hall booth W1904 at the show.
