PRINCETON, NJ – It’s been a busy week in Princeton. Here’s what you need to know:

The first phase of the Witherspoon Street improvement project is nearing completion and the contractor expects to begin closure on December 10. Contractors are preparing to work on the concrete pavement, which is needed before laying the pavement pavers on the east side of the street. . Meanwhile, Verizon is working on completing utility installation in the same area. The work should be completed by the beginning of the week. Witherspoon Street will remain open most of the time, except when the concrete is being placed, and will be closed for short periods. The Graduate Hotel will pour the concrete for the foundation on Monday. Chambers Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Nassau Street and the entrance to Chambers Street Garage. The garage can be accessed from the direction of Paul Robeson Square and Hulfish Street.
