Commissioners open new bridge on Eastside


September 19, 2022 – Commission Chairman Jim Gibson and Commissioner Tick Segerblom opened a new bridge on the east side of the Valley early Monday.

“This new bridge is ideal for East Las Vegas,” Commissioner Segerblom said. “It improves residents’ access to US 95, and possibly a new main road connecting to Henderson.”

The new bridge is part of a project that also included repaving and adding new bike lanes, streetlights and sidewalks along Desert Inn from Blue Ash Lane to Hollywood Boulevard.

William Charles Construction was the contractor for the project.
